We are searching for a Property Manager to join our team on a permanent full-time basis based at our Head Office in Spring Hill. This role is compliance focused, ensuring that all properties align with all relevant legislative and regulatory accommodation obligations. The successful candidate will have a person-centred approach, and understand the importance of strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, government agencies, local councils and community partners.
About the role: Reporting to the General Manager - Operations, this role ensures that housing and other facilities meet regulatory standards, are well-maintained, and provide a safe and comfortable environment for residents with disabilities, as well as:
Manage assets and develop asset management strategies to maintain and improve housing and other facility stock.Manage property inspections, repairs and renovations, along with overseeing lease agreements, tenancy arrangements and property related contracts.Implement preventative maintenance plans, coordinate routine and emergency maintenance requests.Effectively communicating with tenants, oversee housing allocations, rent management and property vacancies.Develop and monitor budgets for maintenance and capital works with cost-effective practices front of mind.Maintain accurate records of property, and facility management activities, along with preparing regular reports on the property performance.About you: You will be adept in property management within the disability or community housing sector, with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Experience leading and motivating a team with a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive work environment.Knowledge of the NDIS and associated SDA standards, along with Workplace Health and Safety and Disability Inclusion and Accessibility.Strong budget management and contract negotiation skills, including attention to detail.Decisive with a strong focus on positive, problem-solving and a proactive approach to facility management.Strong organisation and time management skills, ability to priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.As a valued employee, this opportunity will reward you with a variety of benefits including access to generous salary packaging (including tax-free earnings), as well as:
