The Data and Placement Administration Assistant plays an integral role in the student experience, providing advice and support to students, assisting with a wide range of data and administrative tasks, exercising initiative, integrity and diplomacy.About you To be successful in this role, you will need strong organizational and data management skills to provide efficient administrative support and help the Placement and Student Support Team achieve its objectives. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to serve as the first point of contact for students and visitors, handling inquiries with professionalism and maintaining confidentiality. Attention to detail and accuracy are essential for maintaining student records and databases, ensuring information is correctly stored and easily accessible.The role requires someone who is proactive in managing a range of administrative tasks, including preparing documentation, handling correspondence, and advising on placement matters. You should have the ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and external schools, offering clear guidance on placement policies and professional experience requirements. A strong understanding of university systems and processes, along with the ability to stay updated on new policies and technologies, is crucial. Analytical skills are also important, as you will need to assess office needs and adjust processes based on data.
