You will be taken on a career path that has no boundaries, and branching into new and exciting areas as your interest and capabilities allow.DUTIES You will have the direct role and responsibility of managing, directing, and motivating a team of building surveyors with various experience and providing technical advice in all matters relating to Building Regulations, the National Construction Code (BCA), relevant Australian Standards, fire safety, accessibility and much more.By working closely in collaboration with your Associate you will have the backing of us to take on bigger and more challenging projects. You will be working on a variety of projects from tendering stage to post construction stage which includes site inspections of buildings under construction and existing buildings, meetings with clients and design teams as well as some administration tasks related to technical works.ABOUT YOU A minimum of four years' experience in a similar role. (2 years for Building Surveyors) Exceptional knowledge of the Building Code of Australia. Tertiary qualifications in building surveying, construction management or similar would be highly regarded. Wide exposure to a variety of projects. Proactive attitude. Leadership qualities Strong communication and report writing skills.
