Project Manager – Electrical – Deeside – Plant Based – Days Role – £60-64k + 10% pension contribution + quarterly bonus + 28 days annual leave + Bank HolidaysSamuel Frank is recruiting for an experienced, electrically biased Project Manager to work on a large plant in the Deeside area. The Project Manager role will suit someone with heavy industry experience.Key aspects of the Project Manager role include:Prepare detailed governance structure, project plans and progress reportsLead and manage a team of Project Engineers, Design Engineers, and contractor employeesDevelop detailed engineering requirements and specifications for plant/process improvements with supporting risk assessments, management of change documentation, process safety considerations, and hazard/operability considerations (HAZOP)Responsible for day-to-day management of the drawing office team and the project support teamStrong project management skills (ideally PRINCE2) – the company will arrange for you to attend PRINCE2 training if requiredDegree qualification strongly preferredExperience in the planning and implementation of capital projects, along with experience in the management and control of external contractor personnel is desirableSuccessful Project Manager should be able to demonstrate excellent budget management skillsDemonstrate excellent Health, Safety, and Environmental Management & Legislation knowledgeThe company will also cover professional body subscriptions and will encourage and support team members to gain Chartered statusSalary range of £60-64k includes an uplift of a set amount of prepaid annual overtime hoursOfficially the hours are 8.30am-4.45pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am-3.45pm on a Friday, but Engineers often start earlier and finish earlier so there’s some flexibilityThe site is going through a large phase of investment and offers team members a generous package including a quarterly bonus scheme which, if hit, pays quarterly, which could mean an extra £5-8k per year on top of your basicThey have welfare support for staff, employee discount schemes, and have also recently amended salaries to help people adjust to increased personal costsPlease send your CV for immediate review.
