What's On Offer: Competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $150,000 + Super Weekly productivity bonuses, regular salary reviews, and access to RDOs Flexible working arrangements, including a 9-day fortnight On-site parking and modern offices with convenient public transport access A pathway to RPEQ registration and career progression A friendly and collaborative team environment with monthly social events Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute conceptual and detailed mechanical and structural design projects using STAND7 Perform finite element analysis (FEA) to inform engineering decision-making Mentor and guide junior engineers, contributing to team development Ensure compliance with relevant Australian and international standards Prepare and review technical documents, reports, drawings, and risk assessments Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget Maintain client relationships and contribute to new project proposals About You: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5-7 years of experience in a similar role (consulting and manufacturing experience highly regarded) Strong theoretical understanding of first-principles engineering and experience with FEA (Strand7 experience is required) Expertise in designing mechanical systems such as cranes, conveyors, trailers, and pressure vessels Proven CAD modelling and drafting skills (Autodesk Inventor preferred) In-depth knowledge of structural and material design standards under relevant Australian Standards Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills How to Apply: If this opportunity aligns with your expertise and career goals, please APPLY NOW!
