Position: Engineering Document ControllerContract: 12 months + contract role - immediate start - Mornington peninsulaTraining: Ongoing training and developmentThe document controller is required to manage engineering documents within the Engineering and Capital Projects department. The role is multifaceted and reports to the Drafting Office supervisor with interfaces to the Engineering and Capital project manager, the Assets Manager, and Manufacturing units across the site. TasksAdministration of, and quality checks on, the plant engineering drawing systemFiling and archiving of electronic and hard copy engineering drawingsAdministration and Maintenance of the site technical document registers e.g. technical manuals and equipment registersConsumables ordering and managementManagement of large format document printing and scanning equipmentManagement of document archive strong roomMinor engineering drafting workExperience & SkillsOrganisational skillsAttention to detailCommunication skills, written and verbalMS Office skills - Word, Excel and OutlookExperience using PDF Writer for documentation editing and format changesExperience in document control and or document managementProficiency in document management systems such as databases as well as hard copy and electronic archive systemsExperience in change management and version controlTime management and prioritisationFamiliarity with engineering and manufacturing terminology and documentationBasic AutoCAD skills and experience preferredTimeframes12 months +Design & Build specializes in recruitment for the Construction, Manufacturing, Engineering & Property industries on a national basis.
