Job description
Our client is an established SME non-bank lending business specialising in secured commercial lending. The role has come about due to planned expansion and heavy investment into a new product. This is senior position responsible for taking a new product to market, developing a sales strategy & process, and developing existing and new broker partnerships.
Responsibilities:
* Business development; lead generation, develop broker & aggregator networks
* Book meetings, run discovery sessions, deliver value proposition
* Follow up on leads, objection handle and close out deals
* Identify opportunities to up and cross-sell
* Maintain healthy sales pipeline of current and future business
* Inbound & outbound sales depending on pipeline status
* Inbound; respond to incoming interest from partners or prospects
Requirements:
* Proven commercial business development experience
* Non-bank lending industry experience
* Commercial lending & secured loans experience (essential)
* Experience across the full sales cycle from prospecting to close of sale
* Experience with business development tools (Apollo, Lusha, Mailchimp, etc)
* Experience working with channel partners to generate leads & referrals
