About the Opportunity Our client is large independent mining manufacturing company and are seeking to employ an Administration/Payroll Officer. To be considered for this position, we are looking for candidates that can demonstrate the following skills and experience: Aptitude for analysing and interpreting data, identifying trends and anticipating potential issues and problems that could have a commercial impact. Skills in data entry, maintaining an information data base and generating reports. Previous experience in using JAQ/MYOB/ or similar financial management system. Interpersonal and verbal communication skills – liaising with employees at all levels. Written communication skills – able to prepare financial and management reports for use by executives and managers, develop procedures and guidelines. Internal customer service skills – assisting management in billing processes to support business operations. Intermediate computer skills - Primarily Word and Excel Excellent time management and organisation skills High level of attention to detail. Exposure to statutory reporting (payroll tax, superannuation and group tax etc) and general exposure to the legislation and regulations governing this Ability to handle highly confidential and private informatio Ability to work as part of a team About you Hold either Certificate II or III in Business or have graduated from Business college would be desirable Tertiary Qualifications in Accounting and/or Business related area is desirable A demonstrated aptitude for figures, accuracy and logical problem solving Data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy Payroll experience (any system) of 2 years minimum OR 3 years in finance or accounting department roles with proven mathematical ability Leadership skills Does this sound like you?
