This newly created, 12-month part-time role (max 3 days a week) focuses on leading the growth of our subscription experimentation program. Specifically, it involves creating an editorial/AI experimentation program from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing an editorial experimentation strategy, including tagging relevant sites and managing stakeholders
* Implementing end-to-end experimentation/AB testing, from data-driven hypothesis generation to results
* Finding opportunities for experimentation to solve business or customer problems and pain points
* Presenting data-driven insights to develop a business understanding of our audience and improve experimentation strategies
* Serving as a data and experimentation SME to the wider subscriptions growth business, utilizing NewsQuery and Optimizely
* Participating in and leading cross-functional project teams as a subject matter expert on consumer data and experimentation
Requirements:
* A strong understanding of statistical concepts and ability to explain them to a non-technical audience
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders
* Data-driven thinking and technical skills, combined with business acumen
* Experience working with SQL and Big Query, Adobe Analytics (Omniture), and Optimizely or similar web-based experimentation platforms
* Strong data and statistical competency
