Loss Adjuster
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of domestic home property claims and deliver a best in market claims experience to our customers, whilst achieving the most cost-effective and timely outcomes in accordance with policies and procedures.
What are my accountabilities?
1. Manage a portfolio of property claims;
2. Review for continuous improvement across claims and quality assurance;
3. Provide technical support and feedback to the claims team;
4. Assist with coaching and training of team members;
5. Stay updated across regulatory changes and industry themes and insights;
6. Build and develop strong working relationships with our Clients;
7. Provide escalation point to team following complaints and/or technical queries;
8. Attendance at stakeholder meetings/conferences/phone calls when required.
About you
9. Previous loss adjusting experience
10. Ability to work well autonomously as well as part of a team environment;
11. Proven ability to manage complaints and disputed claims when required;
12. A strong understanding of insurance principles, policies, and regulations;
13. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills;
14. The ability to analyse data, assess risks, and provide effective solutions;
15. Experience in relationship building and stakeholder management.
