Tresillian is currently recruiting for Registered Nurses and Midwives with Child and Family Health (CFH) post graduate qualifications or *working towards CFH qualification (*applicants must provide evidence of enrolment and or transcript of course progress) to our Macksville Residential Unit which provides care 24 hours per day, 5 days a week rotating roster.These positions will be involved in the provision of quality child and family health services to families caring for children 0-3 years of age within a Tresillian service.
The CFH RN/RM will use a strength-based and wellness focus, building on parental confidence and skills through the provision of information, education, resources, guidance, and role modelling safe responsive care. The CFH clinician, utilising evidenced based screening and assessment tools, uses their family partnership skills to identify health variations or family vulnerabilities to negotiate individual care plans and discharge pathways to meet the goals of the family.
The Royal Society for the Welfare of Mothers and Babies, trading as Tresillian, was formed in 1918 to coordinate early child and maternal health care services in New South Wales (NSW). Tresillian is now the largest early child and family health and parenting service in Australia, operating from four sites in metropolitan Sydney and numerous regional and rural sites supporting service provision to families across NSW, Victoria, and ACT.

1. Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
2. Postgraduate/post registration qualifications in Child and Family Health or *working towards (*must be enrolled with a tertiary facility and provide evidence of enrolment).
3. Understanding of, and commitment to, evidence-based practice.
4. Demonstrated experience in attending to the physical, social, and emotional needs of children, and their families.
5. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the principles of population health and primary health care.
6. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the principles and skills of working in partnership and the principles that underpin NSW SafeStart, within a multidisciplinary team environment.
7. Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication and negotiation skills, including computer literacy.
8. Current NSW Drivers Licence Class C

Appointment and ongoing employment will be subject to continued compliance with the Policy Directive.
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 Immunisation Medical Exemption Form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. Please provide proof of booster vaccination if available.
