We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician with 2-3 years’ experience in microbiology to join our team. We strive to exceed client expectations by delivering quality results on time and by maintaining strong relationships with our clients.This role is fast paced and requires you to work at speed with accuracy. Experience in a Commercial NATA accredited Microbiology Laboratory and water quality testing would be advantageous.The day to dayThe successful applicants will undertake a range of duties including the following:Preparation and analysis of water and soil samples in accordance with ALS Quality Work InstructionsInterpretation and result entry into LIMS systemCompleting tasks accurately, in set timeframes and to the relevant analysis standardHighlighting anomalies in results and sample type and sample behaviour to the Team LeaderOrganising designated tasks to maximise daily efficiencyContribution to a clean, tidy and organised Laboratory.The EssentialsThe successful candidate will possess the following skills and abilities:2-3 years’ experience in a Commercial Microbiology LaboratoryRelevant experience – Degree qualificationExcellent organisational skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsTeam oriented with ability to work autonomouslyStrong focus on quality and safety standardsAttention to detail.Working at ALSOur people drive our success at ALS.We are a diverse and dedicated community united by our passion to make a difference in the world.
