About the Client: Our client is a prominent national Property Developer and Owner with a diverse portfolio of industrial assets. The Role: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to oversee the management of industrial properties. In this role, you will focus on facilities management, lease administration, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, while working closely with the Director and Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee all facility-related activities, ensuring maintenance requests are resolved promptly and efficiently.
* Coordinate with Operations Managers for the upkeep and maintenance of properties, ensuring assets are well-maintained.
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and asset care.
* Administer and maintain all lease agreements, ensuring accurate documentation and critical date management.
* Assist in the preparation and execution of lease renewals, rent reviews, and tenant negotiations.
* Monitor and manage arrears, default notices, and rent roll in collaboration with the finance team.
* Ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies and processes for all leasing documentation.
* Prepare and provide monthly reports on facilities operations, lease performance, and financial aspects to the Director and Development Manager.
* Identify opportunities for cost-saving and operational efficiencies in managing the facilities.
Skills & Experience:
* Minimum 2+ years of experience in Industrial property management and lease administration, with a focus on industrial properties.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
* Proficiency in property management and accounting software.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with tenants, landlords, and stakeholders.
