Classification may include but is not limited to: Responsibility for explicit professional portfolio content and context expertise. Expertise in the provision of direct care and/or support of systems and/or education and/or professional leadership. Consultation and provision of professional advice. Responsibility for a cohort of staff reporting to the position. and/or education and research advice. About the TeamThe Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Mackay Base Hospital is the primary critical care service within the Mackay HHS. The critical care trained Medical, Nursing and Allied Health staff manages patients with life threatening or potentially life-threatening illness utilising specialist evidence-based care.About our Hospital and Health ServiceMackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff.
