The Position As Farm Manager, you will be responsible for managing a key asset within our client's supply chain and delivering a high-quality crop to their processing facilities. You will be responsible for managing all activities at this Olive Grove including: All farming related activities including - Planting, Irrigation, Chemical Application, Harvesting and Grading of Crop Supervising the established team and ensuring direct support to team members Review farming planning and production models to ensure best practice Drive best practice in water use efficiency and similar inputs Manage all aspects of OH&S activities on site Connect with our client's internal quality and commercial teams to ensure crop grading and production requirements are met The Person To be successful in this role, the following experience, skills and attributes are considered critical: Experience in a leadership role on a horticultural, ideally working in a similar role or business in the Olives or Viticultural sector. Willingness to learn and adopt industry-leading Ag technology. Excellent interpersonal skills allowing effective communication with all stakeholders. Demonstrable aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving. Outstanding and highly developed leadership and organizational skills. An innate vigilance for setting and maintaining high standards.
