Based from our Yatala Branch, we currently have a Full-Time 6-month Contract Role for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our team to provide financial, administrative and clerical support to the organisation in ensuring timely and accurate payment to our suppliers. The role extends to assisting with the process of verifying and reconcile accounting payables in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Process all invoices and ensure they follow the correct workflow into the accounting system.
* Ensure timely payments to suppliers to maintain strong supplier relationships.
* Coordinate with other departments to ensure payments are appropriately authorised before processing.
* Address and resolve vendor queries regarding payments or account issues in a professional and timely manner.
* Monitor and manage shared accounts inbox.
We are looking for:
* 3+ years' experience in Accounts Payable.
* Experience working with Accounts Payable Software Packages is highly desirable.
* A high level of attention to detail and ability to anticipate issues.
* A great communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* An enthusiastic, independent person who loves building customer relationships, and who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service every time.
* A reliable, hard-working, and honest person with a mature approach.
* A team player and proactive self-starter who can work autonomously, with a drive to help all customers.
* A cheerful and professional customer service and telephone manner.
