About the role JW Marriott is currently looking for a Part-time Night Auditor, with a minimum of 5 days a week availability. This role requires employees to work shifts between 11:00 pm - 07:30 am. Critical responsibilities: Complete end-of-day activities including posting charges to accounts, running night audit backup, and roll the date. Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit. Process adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges. Print contingency lists to have a record of all guests in case of emergency. Sell a room/accommodation to guests without reservations based on availability. Operate telephone switchboard station, process requests for wake up calls, and advise guest of any messages. Complete the Room Rate Variance Report Process all guest check-ins and assign room. Activate or reissue room keys using electronic key machine. Count bank at beginning and end of shift and secure bank. Balance and drop receipts according to accounting specifications. Clean and maintain public areas to include guest laundry, lobby and public bathrooms to the standards set by Marriott. Successful Candidates will have: Excellent customer relations, problem solving and complaint handling skills. The ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently. Working knowledge of Opera and an understanding of point of sales systems such as Micros Previous experience in a hotel front office department desired Flexibility to work evening shifts, including weekends and holidays, and 5 days availability.
