Job Summary
The General Ledger Accountant position at NetApp will be accountable to manage period close activity, perform cost allocation and reporting, calculate monthly accrual and provisioning, prepare and validate amortization schedules. Ownership of legal entities assigned for the period close activities.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Responsibilities include month end closing activities General accounting and ensure proper monthly/quarterly/annually reconciliations.
2. Perform accounting analysis for accruals, prepaid expenses, and account reconciliations.
3. Should have ability to manage and reconcile intercompany transactions.
4. Analyze and perform foreign currency exchange and accounting.
5. Ability to manage cost allocation activity.
6. Prepare schedules for period end reporting.
7. Reconcile Account Receivable, Account Payables and Fixed Assets sub ledger balances.
8. Support Auditor in conducting internal and external audits.
9. Reconcile general ledger and sub ledger accounts.
10. Review financial reports to identify and explain variances.
11. Follow documentation retention policy to maintain accounting files.
12. Prepare cash flow statements and resolve outstanding balancing issues.
13. Adhere to standard accounting principles and company procedures.
Job Requirements
14. Oracle ERP experience desirable
15. A team player and detail-oriented person.
16. Zeal towards Operational Excellence/Process improvement & simplifications
17. Excellent knowledge of financial controls and procedures, and US GAAP knowledge
18. Good organizational skills, including prioritization and time management
19. Ability to think and act both strategically and tactically.
20. Perform accounting analyses and reporting to support decision-making purposes.

21. B. Com / M. Com / MBA
22. Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience of GL R2R experience
