Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will be responsible for overseeing human resources, workplace health and safety and learning & development nationally.Key Responsibilities: Human Resources Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and procedures in alignment with organisational goals and objectsOversee recruitment and ensure that the workforce aligns with the needs of the organisationEnsure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and staying up-to-date on changes in employment lawFoster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersWHS Oversee and ensure serious incidents are reported to relevant stakeholders and regulatorsEnsure compliance with health and safety laws and regulationsTraining Oversee the development of learning and development strategies and initiatives People Management Manage labour appropriately to achieve department targets and company requirementsConduct performance management to address performance gapsReporting Ensure all elements of reporting reports are accurate and completed in a timely manner, in line with company and customer expectationsCommunicate issues and patterns to Management, in order to devise economical and effective resolutionsAbout You: The ideal candidate will have:Experience within the logistics industry, ideally with HR, WHS & Training experience on a national scaleSound knowledge and understanding of industry regulations and standardsStrong leadership and team management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsWhat We Offer: On-site parkingFortnightly payWorkplace Banking Program
