With a commitment to safety, sustainability, and excellence, they are looking for a dedicated HSEQ Officer to join their team and support the continuous improvement of their safety and quality systems.About the RoleThe HSEQ Officer is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving health, safety, environment, and quality systems across the organisation. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with WHS legislation and fostering a strong safety culture across all projects.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and improve the integrated Quality, Health and Safety, and Environmental management system to ensure compliance with current legislation and regulations.Assist the HSEQ Manager in reviewing and updating policies and procedures regularly.Support the development and maintenance of project-specific management plans.Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and audits to ensure compliance with management system requirements.Assist in developing and delivering training programs to enhance HSEQ awareness and competencies.Ensure incidents, near misses, and hazards are reported, documented, and investigated promptly.Promote a culture of continuous improvement and a proactive approach to safety.Represent the company professionally when engaging with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.To Be SuccessfulCertificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety (mandatory).Certificate IV in Environmental Management (desirable).Experience working in the civil construction industry.Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and FSC-compliant systems.Familiarity with ISO standards (9001:2015, 45001:2018, 14001:2016).Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Procore, 1Breadcrumb, and iAuditor.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement.Current Driver's Licence and General Safety Induction (White Card).First Aid certification and Auditor / Lead Auditor training (desirable).If you're a passionate HSEQ professional looking to join a company that values safety, quality, and teamwork, we'd love to hear from you!
