We bring our purpose to life via three shared values: We walk the talk, turn over every stone and keep it human.Job DescriptionNine is seeking an experienced Security officer to join our Queensland office on a casual basis and perform standard security duties including monitoring access controls, fire alarms, tenancy patrols, report writing and more!Day to day you will:Handle emergency control from the Security Control Room and manage traffic.Maintain OHS-related spreadsheets and reports (incident hazards, training registers, induction records, etc.).Ensure site inductions are completed before authorising entry.Uphold Security policies and procedures under the supervision of the Security Manager.Manage mail (receive, sort, deliver) and handle suspect or unidentifiable items.Build rapport and provide support to Nine Management, employees and visitors.QualificationsWhat we would like to see:Demonstrated experience as a Security Officer.Strong customer service skills.Security Guard Level 4.Powers of arrest, crowd control and First Aid.Knowledge of OHS standards and requirements.Awareness of site-specific policies, procedures and challenges.Additional InformationOur Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion:At Nine, we are committed to fostering a workforce that embraces all aspects of diversity and inclusion and where practices are equitable to ensure our people experience a sense of belonging.
