ABC Regional in search for Longreach reporter

ABC Regional has opened a position for a reporter based in Longreach, Queensland.

The reporter will be subordinate to ABC Regional QLD chief of staff Damien Larkins. The job involves daily production of digital and radio content for ABC shows such as ABC Rural Online, the Rural Report and Country Hour, plus feature materials.

Candidates must be primarily Longreach residents with the right to live and work there, and are experienced in producing in radio and digital content. They must also be experienced and knowledgeable in rural, regional, and resources issues, both in Australia and overseas. The applicant must also be capable to travel to remote areas when needed.
