Senior Community Mental Health Clinician Ballarat Campus Permanent – Full-Time (80 hours per fortnight, with a monthly ADO) About the Role An exciting opportunity awaits a Senior Community Mental Health Clinician to join our North Community Mental Health Team.
We welcome applications from Occupational Therapists, Registered Psychiatric Nurses (RPNs), Psychologists, and Social Workers.
As a Senior Mental Health Clinician, you will play a key role in our multidisciplinary team, working directly with consumers, their families, and supporters.
Your expertise will contribute to delivering evidence-based, best-practice mental health care, while also providing leadership and guidance to your team.
Key Responsibilities In collaboration with the Team Leader, the Senior Clinician will: Manage and coordinate the daily operational requirements of the team Provide input into GMHWS policy development Participate in continuous improvement activities within the team Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of service and program delivery This role is ideal for a passionate and experienced clinician looking to make a meaningful impact in community mental health.

Key Selection Criteria Qualifications – Mandatory AHPRA Registration, Nurse Division 1 – Post Graduate qualification in Mental Health and substantial work experience, usually 5 years' experience in mental health service delivery, or; Degree or Masters qualification in Social Work along with the Accredited Mental Health Social Work credential.
Must be eligible for membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
Minimum of 7 years' experience in Mental Health Clinical service delivery, or; AHPRA Registration, Degree or Masters qualification in Occupational Therapy and a minimum or 7 years' experience post qualification in Mental Health Clinical service delivery, or; AHPRA Registration, Masters qualification in Clinical, Forensic or Neuropsychology and at least 7 years of experience post qualification in Mental Health Clinical service delivery.
