Based on the needs of the agency or the applicant the positions will be located in a home office or in an agency office in Lacey, Spokane, or Federal Way.Two (2) positions will be located on the West side of the state. Counties of consideration are (Lewis, Mason, Thurston, Kitsap, Pierce, King and Snohomish).One (1) position will be located on the East side of the state. Counties of consideration are (Spokane, Benton, Yakima, Kittitas).Special Agents assigned to this team conduct in-depth and independent compliance audits and investigations of licensees and other affiliated organizations. They examine and analyze gambling and financial records for compliance with rules/laws and detection of financial misconduct. Furthermore, they evaluate licensee records and internal controls to detect and prevent hidden ownership or conflicts of interest.Some of what you will do:Conduct audits and investigations.Review gambling and financial records.Support regional and statewide agents by conducting forensic audits as an element of an investigation.Conduct compliance inspections to verify compliance with WAC and RCW.Conduct administrative interviews and testify in administrative proceedings.Respond to complaints.Participate on special projects and teams.Demonstrate a good working relationship with federal, state, and local law enforcement and regulatory agencies by working cases jointly, sharing information, and by providing training.Attend, participate, and complete financial investigations training program, within the first 24 months from the date of hire, to gain knowledge and skills requisite to the performance of Special Agent duties.Why Join Our TeamOur employees are our most important asset, and we are looking for highly talented individuals to join our team.
