An industry leader in cold storage and logistics is seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to oversee and optimise supply chain activities. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless inventory management, transportation, warehousing, and distribution while maintaining efficiency and cost-effectiveness.About The RoleAs the Operations Manager, you will lead a team of six, driving efficiency, safety, and best practices across all logistics operations. This is a hands-on role, where you'll be actively involved on the floor, working alongside your team to ensure smooth daily operations. You’ll lead by example, providing guidance, troubleshooting challenges in real time, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.Your Key Responsibilities Will Include Providing guidance and mentoring to a skilled logistics team fostering a collaborative environment Overseeing stock levels, audits, and replenishment strategies to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Managing inbound and outbound transport, optimising routes, and negotiating service agreements with providers. Identifying operational gaps and implementing innovative solutions using data-driven insights. Ensuring transparency, timely updates, and strong service delivery for internal and external stakeholders. This role is based in Cannon Hill, QLD.About YouWe’re looking for an experienced operations leader who enjoys working within a FMCG logistics environment.
