We have a highly engaged, diverse and collaborative workforce that is unified by our purpose, which is to help people live healthy and fulfilled lives.About the Psychological Trauma Recovery Outpatient Service:A specialist, state wide service providing targeted treatment programs for trauma related mental health conditions to specific client cohorts, including veterans, current service Australian Defence Force personnel, emergency services personnel and survivors of serious workplace or motor vehicle accidents.About the role:This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced psychologist to provide direct clinical care in a unique, specialist mental health setting and build upon clinical leadership skills as part of a highly motivated and supportive team. This position is also responsible for reestablishing a group treatment program for Veterans and current serving ADF members and setting up a pilot project for Massed Prolonged Exposure.A regular day will see you:Deliver high quality, evidence based, trauma specific treatmentProvide individual and group based interventions in an outpatient settingProvide clinical supervision to psychologistsContribute to ongoing evaluation and improvement initiatives and portfolio work, in collaboration with leadershipAbout you:Ideally, you’ll have:Demonstrated experience in provision of evidence based psychological interventionsDemonstrated experience in treating individuals with a PTSD diagnosisKeen interest, endorsement and experience in providing clinical supervisionWorking at Austin Health means enjoying a strong sense of purpose, engaging in meaningful work every day.
