The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Artist in Residency Officer to support the delivery of our Artist in Residency program at the Goldfields Arts Centre (GAC).
About The Role This essential role aligns with the Artist in Residency grant, supporting the program over its three-year duration.
You will work closely with the GAC Curator to assist in managing the residency program, liaise with local and visiting artists, coordinate community engagement activities (such as workshops and artist talks), and help organize exhibitions.
Key Responsibilities Research, interview, and assist in securing artists for the residency program.
Ensure community engagement efforts align with local needs and grant objectives.
Provide high-level service and support to both internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate and facilitate community events, workshops, and exhibitions as part of the residency program.
Assist with administrative tasks to ensure compliance with grant outcomes.
