Currently seeking multiple Service Designers to join their busy team for a casual 12-month temporary assignment.
About the Role As a Service Designer, you will be part of a team that designs and delivers service improvements to provide quality client outcomes and enhance their experience.
In addition, your key duties are as follows:
Research and identify insightsCo-create and document current state service through design and researchCo-create and co-facilitate process design improvements.Advocate for the voice and experience of clients and stakeholders through work processes.Co-facilitate design-thinking sessions with service users to design and test future service processes, channels, and experiences.Apply in-depth knowledge of the role and functions of the organisation and the related impacts across work areas.Oversee end-to-end service experiences in line with the Digital Service StandardContribute to the evaluation of proposed solutions and design at both a conceptual and tactical level. About You To be successful in this role, you must have:
Demonstrated experience in Service Design or similar roles, ideally within the disability, social services, or public sectorExperience with human-centred design, user research, persona development, and journey mappingAbility to lead co-design sessions with stakeholders and usersProficiency with digital design tools such as Miro, Figma, Creately, Mural, etc.Demonstrated experience with Jira, SharePoint, MS Suite, Qualtrics, or other comparable design toolsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalFamiliarity with agile methodologies like Agile or Kanban Benefits ASAP Start Date pending clearanceCasual 12-month Temporary AssignmentFull-time hours, Monday to FridayMultiple positions available:Senior Role: $60.26 per hour + superLeadership Role: $602.55 per day + superMultiple locations available:Geelong or Melbourne VICSurry Hills or Newcastle NSWBrisbane QLDDeakin, ACTAdelaide, SAHobart, TAS *** Please note the successful candidate for the role must hold Australian Citizenship and be willing to complete a federal police check ** At Chandler Macleod, we are committed to fostering a diverse workforce where everyone is welcome.
