Senior Service Engineer

Your Role and Responsibilities
This role involves executing service work of medium to high complexity as per work instructions and ABB guidelines. Each day, you will deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers. You will also showcase your expertise by working with customers to identify opportunities in the installed base, to improve system performance and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to customer satisfaction by planning and executing service work as per customer order and expectations.
* Ensure customer retention by delivering superior customer experience and effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations.
* Taking actions to identify new service business opportunities for ABB, in close cooperation with customers and other ABB teams.
* Review and modify schematics, develop PLC, SCADA and Drive software.
* Coach technicians and engineers and supervise complex site activities.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* An Electrical Engineering Degree or Diploma, or Trade qualification in an Electrical discipline (Electrician, Electrical Fitter, Millwright).
* Over 8 years of experience ideally in the Dragline Service/Mining segment.
* A current Australia Electrical License.
* A current Australia Issued Motor Vehicle Driver's License.
* A commitment to Workplace OH&S and other legislation/regulations related to the mining industry.

Salary:
$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
