You can expect to work across a 24/7 roster.
Key Responsibilities Support clients with daily personal care such as bathing, shaving and toiletingProvide medication assistance and mobility assistance by lifting, transferring and hoisting clientsFollow person-centred active support plans and behaviour support plans respectfullyAbility to support a 24/7 roster, which will consist of sick leave and annual leave and may also include a variety of day, afternoon and active overnight shifts ensuring that our support is available whenever it's needed mostAssist and advocate for clients choice and control to enable them to reach their goals through meaningful activities of their choosingTrack and document the changing needs of clients through thorough record-keepingSkills & Experience A current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011 (or willingness to obtain)Current unrestricted driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle (minimum Third Party insurance)Access to a personal mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet and ability to use basic technology and softwareSuccessful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
