Senior Manager: Commercial Transactions - 58941SydneyHybrid working model (2-3 days on-site)How will I help?As a Senior Manager; Commercial Transactions, you will provide strategic commercial support across the Cash and Transactional Banking Line of Business (LOB) for customer and supplier engagements, strategic partnerships, driving improved performance and supporting the digital environment with innovative contractual design and offerings.You will also take a proactive role in analysing, advising, structuring and negotiating commercial agreements in line with Cash and Transactional Banking objectives, broader strategic goals, and policies of Westpac Group. Your success will be measured on your ability to provide commercial legal advice on the impacts of contractual risks and managing the relationship with business stakeholders (including Legal, Risk, Procurement etc).What do I need?Qualified lawyer with a strong commercial background.Strong practical experience with commercial contract management and/or managing vendor/partnership relationships (B2B relationships)Experience in Banking and/or Financial Services industry (exposure to payments and/or merchant acquiring, or e-commerce will be highly regarded)Experience negotiating contract terms to minimise risk and to suit specific productsExcellent communication and influencing skillsHighly developed negotiation, problem solving and analytical skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage competing demands and utilise effective project and self-management techniques.What is it like to work there?We are a collaborative team of passionate people with a shared ambition to make a difference for our customers, our communities and each other.
