Job Description
In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest comfort across all guestrooms and public areas, ensuring that every corner reflects the excellence of our hotel brand. Your leadership will have a direct impact on guest satisfaction, while driving operational success within the housekeeping department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and inspire the housekeeping team to maintain high standards of cleanliness in guestrooms and public areas.
* Set and achieve productivity and expenditure targets in collaboration with the General Manager.
* Recruit, train, and mentor housekeeping staff to build a motivated, skilled, and high-performing team.
* Manage rostering, ensuring proper staffing levels are maintained, and oversee the accurate completion of timesheets.
* Address guest complaints and ensure feedback is shared with the Front Office Manager.
* Maintain accurate inventory of supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
* Oversee laundering processes, ensuring quality and timely return of linen and uniforms

Qualifications
* 3+ years of hotel industry experience, with a strong focus on leadership and operational excellence.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Opera Cloud would be highly beneficial.
* Skilled in coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
* Proven track record in managing rosters, controlling costs, and meeting budget and performance targets.
* Culturally aware, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
* Flexible and available for a rotating roster, including weekends and holidays.
