Summary:As Social Media Lead, you will oversee the regional social content strategy for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, with an emphasis on Australia & New Zealand. You'll demonstrate a deep understanding of Surfline's social community in APAC and will support on the ideation, and lead on the execution, of highly engaging and performant social media posts and campaigns. Ultimately, you will represent Surfline to the large community of surfers found in APAC.Under Surfline's "Work from Anywhere" policy, this position may be performed on a full-time remote basis from New South Wales or Queensland, Australia.What You'll Do: Act as the digital voice of Surfline within your region via the social profiles you manageManage your regional social media calendar and ensure timely execution of all deliverablesShow a deep understanding of the Surfline brand and forecasting toolDemonstrate a keen sense for how to localize the global Surfline social media strategy within your regionSupport performance reporting on your social channels and tease out any useful learnings for other teamsLeverage your knowledge of the region in the way you constantly speak to the topics on surfer's minds through your workUtilize the face-to-camera method to deliver key messages, when appropriateMaintain a high threshold of engagement while minimizing controversy through your social outputStay continuously in tune with social media best practices and bring new ideas to the global social team regularlyWhat We're Looking For:Experience managing social media channels, specifically InstagramFamiliarity with content creation tools such as Canva and video editing softwareA keen instinct for what will resonate with surfers within your regionYou May Also Have:Skills in photography and/or video editingAbout Surfline Wavetrak:Millions of people around the world depend on Surfline Wavetrak's products to enrich their experiences in and around the ocean.
