Davidson Technology are currently working with a large State Government agency to secure an experienced SAP S4HANA Solutions Architect to provide expert advice and content knowledge.
About the Role
As the SAP S4HANA Solution Architect, you’ll provide leadership and direction in designing and managing solutions, addressing risks, and managing issues. You will analyse business requirements and system specifications to ensure alignment with business needs, offering strategic expertise to staff and management. You’ll solve complex system and technological problems, delivering innovative solutions within required timeframes, and complete system architecture and design specifications in compliance with relevant standards. You will consult with business owners on system enhancements and collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve agreed business outcomes. Additionally, you’ll provide expert advice on quality reviews and solution design changes to maintain system robustness and relevance. You will effectively liaise and negotiate with team members, project teams, stakeholders, and client groups to develop and maintain effective working relationships, ensuring the overall solution's integrity. The role also involves maintaining a broad and up-to-date knowledge of ERP solutions, IT innovation, whilst adhering to financial management, quality management, public administration policies, employment equity, occupational health and safety, ethical behaviour, and information security standards.
About You
To be a successful SAP Solution Architect, you’ll bring a proven track record in delivering complex SAP-based solutions across a broad range of finance and supply chain modules, including extensive experience with the Queensland Government. Your expertise will encompass a deep understanding of Health and ERP-related initiatives, covering areas such as General Ledger Accounting, Asset Accounting, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Management Accounting, Budgeting, Asset Management, Real Estate, Inventory Management, Operational Procurement, and Extended Warehouse Management. You’ll possess the ability to translate intricate SAP technical and solution concepts into effective business outcomes and have demonstrated extensive architectural experience, including coaching and mentoring other architects, and managing integrated systems solutions across teams. With strong client service skills, you will excel in working to deadlines and service level timelines, leading and supervising teams to deliver exceptional services. Your extensive written and verbal communication skills, will enable you to provide strategic advice, consult, and negotiate with stakeholders, building effective relationships in dynamic environments. You’ll demonstrate substantial experience in highly integrated ERP environments, leading large-scale transformations, and possess expert knowledge in designing integration strategies, solution architecture, and creating solution artefacts. With a good grasp of current technical industry trends, you’ll have honed your skills through a minimum of 7 to 10 years in complex, large business implementations.
