Join us as a Credit Risk Systems Developer in a max-term capacity of 6-months. The role involves developing Credit Risk Strategies within the bank's credit decision system (Dp3) and building Risk Ratings Models. You will work closely with the Credit Risk Systems Manager to translate business requirements into technical specifications and interpret functional requirements for stakeholders.Key Responsibilities: Identify and debug system and coding issues.Establish and maintain relationships across BOQ IT, architecture communities, and wider business stakeholders.Interpret functional requirements documented in Atlassian tools (Jira) to develop decision strategies and rules for Consumer & Commercial lending applications.Develop and deploy jar files, vendor packages, and other software developments.Review WSDLs, XSDs, and XMLs provided by third-party vendors.Develop appropriate SOAP UI for system testing and ensure compliance with ME's Enterprise release processes.Produce well-documented, reusable, optimised, scalable, and robust code, along with solution designs, functional specifications, and handover documents.Support the development of change plans, test plans, and user guides.Lead root cause analysis to identify and rectify defects and issues in Credit Risk systems.Develop and maintain Credit Risk systems and support tools for business use.About You: We are looking for someone with experience in Java/J2EE development and a solid understanding of object orientation and design patterns. You should ideally have a minimum of 2 years' experience in an automated credit risk management environment and be well-versed in the functions of Consumer Lending and Retail Credit Risk and Collections.Extensive knowledge and experience with decision engines, including Dp3, Probe, NBSM, Triad, Strategy Manager, and DLM, are required. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel (VBA) and data extraction tools like SAS or SQL is advantageous. Additionally, experience with front-end UI technologies such as Pega, JavaScript, jQuery, and HTML, as well as back-end technologies like ESB, HTML, and XML, is important.
