This role is designed to champion environmental stewardship, ensuring that all regulatory requirements from licensed monitoring to conservation of vital fauna and biosecurity measures are not just met but exceeded. You'll leverage both your analytical expertise and innovative mindset to craft creative solutions for diverse and often complex environmental challenges.Key CriteriaAs the successful candidate for the role of Environmental Advisor, you will meet the following criteria:Assist with the review of the Dust, Noise & Water Management Plans and supporting processes.Assist with the review and implementation of the Conservation Significant Terrestrial Fauna Management Plan and supporting processes.Coordinate and lead improvement projects for monitoring and terrestrial fauna management.Provide coaching, development and support for fostering a collaborative and learning-focused work environment for less experienced members.Conduct investigations into environmental incidents, assign actions and monitor close out.Coordinate and provide environmental training programs where appropriate including toolbox topics.Prepare statutory and internal monthly reports as required.Coordinate the on-site activities of consultants and contractors to achieve business plan objectives.High level of technical and practical skills related to environmental compliance activities.Demonstrated practical application of legislation, standards & codes of practice.Experience in the implementation & maintenance of environmental management systems.Tertiary Degree in Environmental Science, Hydrogeology, Geoscience, Agriculture or Conservation Science.What's on Offer?• A culture driven company that allows individuals to foster their ideas.• Diverse workplace that promotes Inclusion and flexibility.For more information and a confidential discussion please contact Jani Els 08 6467 06*** or click Apply Now.
