Food Preparation and Presentation Professional
Wests New Lambton offers a diverse range of dining options, including specialty restaurants Chophouse Grill and Emerald Gardens, as well as the popular Wests Food Court.
The food court features traditional club favourites from the Bistro and modern Asian selections from New Beijing. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality food across our various outlets and restaurants.
* Complete daily prep sheets to ensure seamless service operations.
* Plan, prepare, and present high-quality food during service, adhering to brand standards.
* Support other sections of the kitchen when required, fostering a collaborative work environment.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work areas, adhering to strict food safety and handling regulations.
* Assist with the set-up and close-down of service, ensuring efficient operations.
* Ensure proper storage of food in line with food safety and hygiene standards.
* Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen through understanding of HACCP principles and food handling regulations.
* Dispose of waste appropriately and efficiently.
* Perform all work duties in a manner that ensures individual health and safety as well as that of other employees and patrons.
Key Requirements
* Minimum 3 years of commercial cooking experience.
* Proven ability to develop and execute innovative menu items while adhering to brand standards.
* Commercial Cookery Certificate/Diploma.
* Food Safety Certificate.
