About The Role
As a Cyber Security Analyst in the Cyber Incident Response team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our capability to detect and respond to cyber threats. You will work proactively to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our information systems and assets.
Your Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include engaging with the Security Operations Centre (SOC) to ensure timely detection and alerting of security events, driving ongoing capability and maturity uplift, and collaborating with various teams to integrate security solutions into real-time monitoring and automate detection and response capabilities. You will also be involved in incident response, threat hunting, and cyber threat intelligence activities, contributing to the overall security posture of the organisation.
About You
You have experience in Cyber Incident Response and Threat Management, with a solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts, networking, system security, and cloud security. You are familiar with threat hunting methodologies and cyber threat intelligence frameworks, and you have experience working in 'on-prem', outsourced, and cloud-hosted IT service delivery environments.
You possess strong communication and influential skills, and you are capable of presenting to and influencing senior levels within the organisation. You are a natural collaborator, bringing people together to solve problems and drive continuous improvement. You are committed to ongoing self-improvement and skill development, and you embody the values of empathy, integrity, and making a difference.
