ABOUT THE POSITION. As a Development Engineer in a initial 6 month contract based in a Council located in Northern Sydney, you will be responsible in providing quality civil engineering advice relating to development and respond to customer enquiries concerning engineering matters. DUTIES. Report and assess the internal engineering aspects of proposed development pertaining to stormwater, parking, traffic and stormwater Respond to customer development queries relating to engineering requirements and associated Council policies Identify, resolve and ensure standard and specific conditions address technical issues Liaise with internal and external Stakeholders including Developers SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE. Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant qualifications Prior experience as a Development Engineer in Local Government, is highly desirable Proven ability to assess stormwater management systems Proficient in softwares including AutoCAD, DRAINS, HEC-RAS and TUFLOW CULTURE.
