About the role We're on the hunt for a Learning & Development (L&D) Instructional Designer and Resource Developer who is ready to create innovative learning content. Are you the creative force we need to develop programs and content that engage and develop employees and people leaders? Reporting to the Manager, Learning and Development within the People and Culture Branch, the primary objective of the L&D Instructional Designer and Resource Developer is to facilitate the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and competencies in an effective and captivating manner. You will be responsible for designing versatile learning programs, courses and content for induction and leadership, including virtual, face to face, and blended formats. Your expertise in adult learning and instructional design will be crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality learning experiences. Ultimately, your role will contribute to the success of learners at all levels of our organisation by fostering their growth and development through well-designed and impactful content. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the learning journey of Victorian Public Service employees. About you To be considered for the role, you must be able to demonstrate: Demonstrated experience in instructional design for adult learners Experience in developing and implementing engaging and accessible learning programs/courses/modules/content for adults - in face to face, virtual, and blended formats (public sector experience would be highly desirable) Solid knowledge of Articulate e-learn course development software and at least one Learning Management System Ability to develop effective working relationships with stakeholders and communicate clearly to ensure mutual understanding of requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills For specific responsibilities please review the attached position description.
