Junior Forensics and Incident Management Analyst

Service NSW Cyber Security is seeking a Junior Forensics and Incident Management Analyst to join our Digital Forensics & Incident Management (DFIM) team. This role supports cyber security investigations, incident response, and operational coordination across teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in investigating and resolving cyber security incidents to minimise business impact.
* Proactively follow up with product teams and stakeholders to drive incident resolution.
* Support forensic analysis and evidence collection to aid in investigations.
* Escalate issues and collaborate with internal teams for effective remediation.
* Monitor security trends and contribute to proactive incident management.
Nice to Have
* Background in security operations or development.
* Familiarity with forensic tools, log analysis, or scripting.
* Familiarity with Agile tooling such as Jira.
Salary: Service NSW Grade 5 / 6, with the base salary for this role starting at 88,123 base plus superannuation.
