Administration Officer (Accounting Firm)
Our client is a dynamic and growing accounting firm based in Dubbo, NSW. They provide a range of taxation, accounting and business advisory services for individuals and small to medium sized businesses.
They now have an exciting full-time opportunity for an experienced Administration Officer to join them.
In this role, you will provide high-level administrative support to the accounting firm, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
What you'll be doing
1. Providing a wide range of administrative support, including data entry, document management, relief reception, scheduling meetings and appointments.
2. Handling client inquiries and responding to emails and phone calls, maintenance of client database.
3. Resolving client enquiries, receiving and organising clients’ data.
4. Assisting clients with formation of different business entity types including Companies, Trusts, SMSF’s and Partnerships, and updating the details as and when required.
5. Corporate compliance - preparation and lodgement of ASIC forms for changes to Company details including appointment and cessation of Directors, share transfers, Company minutes, and maintaining ASIC debtors.
6. ATO registrations, client ATO communications, client ATO payment plans.
7. Assisting the Debtors’ clerk with processing clients’ refunds, receipting account payments and following up outstanding accounts.
What we're looking for
1. Proven experience as an Administration Officer or similar role, ideally within an accounting or professional services environment.
2. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
3. Experience in MYOB, ATO Tax Agent Portal, ASIC Portal, NowInfinity Corporate Compliance is highly advantageous.
