Position Title: Retail Pharmacist

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Retail Pharmacist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing expert health advice, and assisting in managing pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with professional standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong commitment to enhancing community health.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently
Counsel patients on proper medication usage, side effects, and storage
Advise on general health, lifestyle, and over-the-counter medication options
Manage inventory, including ordering and managing stock levels
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and guidelines
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
Assist in training and mentoring junior staff as required
Liaise with healthcare providers to optimise patient care outcomes
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
Education: Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia
Registration: Registered with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience as a Retail Pharmacist (preferred)
Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, customer-focused, problem-solving abilities
Required Skills and Attributes:
Comprehensive knowledge of medications and pharmaceutical care
Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, empathetic attitude
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
Knowledge of pharmacy operations and compliance standards
