The Role
The Air Lift Systems Program Office (ALSPO) at RAAF Base Richmond is seeking an experienced individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys a variety of tasks and is a committed team player. RAAF Base Richmond is less than 30km from major cities, such as Penrith, Blacktown and Rouse Hill.
This position provides support to the Resource Manager in workforce management, culture and administrative compliance and governance. Duties include overseeing recruitment actions from commencement to on-boarding, travel support & guidance, senior leadership support, assisting with data generation and reports, procurement activities, records management, general administration and the delivery of a range of policy and process guidance to the unit.
About our Team
The Air Lift Systems Program Office (ALSPO) at RAAF Base Richmond is a business unit within the Airlift and Tanker Systems (ATS) branch of the Aerospace Systems Division (ASD), within Defence’s Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG).
ALSPO is the in-service support agency responsible for sustaining and enhancing the RAAF’s C-130J Hercules and C-27J Spartan aircraft. ALSPO, in partnership with industry, exists to support Air Mobility Group achieve its mission by providing effective sustainment support solutions.
The Business Management Unit (BMU) within ALSPO is a highly capable, professional and friendly team operating in a dynamic and challenging work environment. Given the integrated nature of our business, building and maintaining cooperative and collaborative relationships are fundamental to our success.
