A job to be proud of: As a Software Developer at St John WA, you are responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of software applications within the Frontline Applications Stream.
They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements, help architect solutions, and implement scalable and high-performance software.
This is a permanent, full-time position based at our Head Office in Belmont with flexible working arrangements are available.
What you'll do: Lead the design and implementation of complex software solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and adhere to best practices.
Proficient in writing complex SQL queries for efficient data manipulation and retrieval, query trouble shooting and optimisation Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner, providing technical support to resolve production problems.
Implement updates and patches to address security vulnerabilities, improve functionality, and enhance overall system stability.
Lead discussions on architecture and design decisions, ensuring alignment with project goals and scalability requirements.
Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to understand business priorities and translate them into technical solutions.
Utilise expertise in programming languages used to build robust and scalable backend systems.
Design and implement efficient algorithms and data structures, optimising software performance What you'll need: 5+ years .NET/C# development experience Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Software Developer, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role.
Track record of successfully delivering complex software solutions.
Experience with agile development methodologies.
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as Azure Experience with version control systems (Git).
Solid understanding of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (Angular, Vue).
Extensive experience with software development frameworks and tools.
