Permanent and temporary opportunities to provide professional expertise and clinical anaesthesia services as rostered in the Department of Anaesthesia STARS, Metro North Hospital and Health Service.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Comply with and utilise procedures, policies, regulations, and standards which impact upon the position, including contemporary human resource management requirements and practices, such as workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination. Provide specialist anaesthetic, perioperative, pain management and related services for patients undergoing elective procedures. Assist in education and simulation activities for junior medical and nursing staff, as appropriate for a teaching hospital for the Faculty of Medicine, University of Queensland. You are required to be responsible for the practice of trainee anaesthetists and junior medical staff and to assist in their professional development. Keep electronic records which meet the standards required by the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists and Metro North Hospital Health. Endeavour to support the research activities of the department. Health Equity
