THE ROLE:
This role has a focus on Employment Law and Employment Litigation. You will be involved in:
* drafting and advising on contracts of employment
* advising on the interpretation of and practical application of modern awards and enterprise agreements
* unfair dismissal, general protections, and anti-bullying in the Fair Work Commission
It will be beneficial if you have experience in:
* representing clients in conciliations and/or hearings before the Commission
* litigation in the Federal Circuit & Family Court of Australia and Federal Court of Australia
* claims relating to general protections matters, underpayments, and discrimination
* litigation in State courts and tribunals, such as in matters of unlawful termination, equal opportunity/discrimination claims in VCAT.
OH&S experience and EB, IR litigation experience will all be highly regarded.
