Lecturer in Psychology: Clinical Placement and Education-Focused
The School of Psychology at Deakin University seeks a part-time Lecturer to coordinate placements in our Clinical Programs. Working closely with the Director of Clinical Programs and Partnerships, you will develop and maintain relationships with agencies to secure high-quality placement opportunities for postgraduate students.
As a key member of our team, your responsibilities will include:
* Coordinating placements that meet program requirements
* Contributing to teaching, service, and research in professional psychology programs
* Promoting the School and maintaining links with academic, industry, and professional communities
* Providing supervision to postgraduate students on placement, as needed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A PhD in a relevant discipline and/or other relevant qualifications and experience
* Registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Endorsement as an area of practice
* Psychology Board of Australia-approved supervisor status (desirable)
