The opportunity
The Royal Freemasons community is looking for experienced and motivated Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Elizabeth Gardens Residential Aged Care Facility in Burwood.
Our Housekeeping Assistants play an important role in ensuring a clean, hygienic and safe home for our residents. You will be valued member of a self-motivated team who are passionate about delivering the highest standards of cleanliness and safety
Key responsibilities include
o Assist with the cleaning of resident’s bedrooms, common areas, foyer entrances and dining ensuites.
o Ensure that all areas are well kept and that a high standard of hygiene is maintained always.
o Ensuring residents clothes are freshly laundered, ironed and placed away appropriately.
Key Requirements
o It is a mandatory requirement when working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Clearance or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of this role.
o All Aged Care workers are encouraged be vaccinated against Covid-19 (3 vaccines) and to receive the Flu-Vaccine, all successful applicants will be required to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination prior to commencement.
o Experience in providing housekeeping services in a residential care facility is desirable.
