SCA's TV cover reaches all of regional Australia, in conjunction with its affiliations with metropolitan commercial networks. SCA's affiliations include Network 10, Channel 7, Nine & Sky News. Our editors have a strong interest in news and current affairs, news studio operations, and graphics production. They manage video assets for use in multiple news broadcasts in multiple markets daily, across SCA's broadcast and non-broadcast platforms. In this role you will be able to edit and transfer video elements between systems and platforms in an efficient and high-quality manner, will be technically astute, organised, collaborative and a good communicator. What you'll be doing: Edit and deliver news updates and stories for regional television markets across Australia. Source and ingest news footage and capture live feed recordings from multiple outlets and platforms. Basic studio operations, including camera, vision mixing, audio and news ingest. Assist journalists in newsgathering, adhering to tight deadlines. Experience we're looking for: Demonstrable experience working with nonlinear editing platforms. Experience with vision mixers and studio operations equipment is an advantage. Familiarity with graphics production software and systems. Ability to work calmly under pressure against multiple daily deadlines. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
